We process over 100,000 payments a day, either delivering the service on behalf of one of our partner banks, or direct to the end customer.

Some organisations rely more heavily on being able to process real time electronic payments, than others. If the primary method of accepting payments becomes unavailable, then it is critical that the business can accept payment by other means. Not being able to could mean losing business or worse.

This is why Documetric provides a number of contingency payment services.

  • Relay: A contingency service used by several utilities and a large football club. Relay enables payments to be executed in cases when the UK BACS network fails. Clients are then able to email, call or fax to execute bulk payments.
  • Credit card voucher services: Secure receipt, scanning and transmission of credit card vouchers. The data is transmitted via secure transmission to a card clearing facility for payment. Although this application is intended to support payments when the Chip & Pin network is down, it is also used by numerous merchants who have not adopted Chip & Pin.
